October 1: Registration opens for the 2025 program

October 15: Nominated lists for the school-aged programs are announced

October 20-26, 2024: Ontario Public Library Week

October 22, 2024: Evergreen Winner Announced

November 15: Password portion of the website open for 2025 registered participants

January 29-February 1, 2025: OLA Super Conference

April 1-30: Voting for school-aged programs

April 23: Official Forest Voting Day for school-aged programs (World Book Day)

May 13-14, 2025: Forest of Reading Festival – Toronto – in-person and digital experience both offered

May 15, 2025: Fête de la Forêt de la lecture for French-language awards
